Bilingual Intensive Therapist and Outpatient Therapist

Your Role and Responsibilities

A CFGC Therapist is responsible for providing a range of clinical services to children, adolescents and their caretakers.

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and DSM 5 diagnoses.

  • Provide child and adolescent individual and family therapy, and collateral support to parents.

  • Provide clinic, in-home, school and community based services.

  • Develop written treatment plans and document mental health services.

  • Conduct risk assessments, develop and implement safety plans, and provide crisis intervention.

  • Work collaboratively with other clinical staff, including psychiatrists, to ensure that clients receive appropriate, coordinated care.

  • Take on additional duties as needed.

  • As a Bilingual Intensive Therapist you will provide services in our RRR and FSP programs. You will work closely with a supportive and encouraging multidisciplinary team. You will participate in an on call rotation every 5-6 weeks and will become certified in writing involuntary holds.
     

Who We Are Looking For

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a must for the Intensive Therapist position and a plus for the Outpatient Therapist position.

  • One year of post graduate child/adolescent community mental health experience is preferred.

  • Someone who has completed a Master’s degree in social work or counseling psychology.

  • Must be registered or licensed with the BBS, have a valid CA Drivers License, and auto insurance.

  • Someone who has clinical experience with children, adolescents, and their families.

  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and DMH paperwork a plus.

  • Must have knowledge of legal and ethical standards of practice.

  • Promotes a positive and solution focused work environment.
