Referrals to Community Resources
At Community family Guidance Center, we understand that the strength of families is often compromised by social and economic issues outside of the home.  All of our programs provide families with connections and referrals to local, accessible resources such as food banks, affordable housing, child care, and after school programs.
 

At CFGC we believe that the mental health needs of one individual impact the whole family.  For this reason, our counseling and programs are focused not just on the child in need, but also on providing support for the whole family.  We offer individual, family, and parent psychotherapy services tailored to the specific needs of each family.

Community Family Guidance Center has been at the forefront of child abuse prevention and treatment in southeast Los Angeles County for the past 25 years. Our therapists receive specialized training in therapy techniques that scientific research has found to be the best treatment models for addressing abuse and trauma issues.   From our Safety Bear school based prevention program to our intensive treatment programs we offer an array of programs to assist children and their families who have been impacted by abuse and neglect. 

All children need safe communities, and supportive friends and teachers in order to be happy and successful.
