Richard Murase, LCSW, Executive Director

After completing military service in the US Army from 1968 to 1970, Richard received his Bachelors degree from California State University Los Angeles in 1973, and his Masters in Social Work (MSW) in 1975 from University of Southern California.  He completed his internship at Intercommunity Child Guidance Center (ICGC) in 1975, and was then hired at Community Family Guidance Center, which was then a satellite office of ICGC.  Richard has been the Executive Director of Community Family Guidance Center since 1989. Richard is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with the Board of Behavioral Sciences, holds advanced certification through the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW), and is a Board Certified Diplomat (BCD).
