Dr. Bob Hughlett, President-Elect

Dr. Robert Hughlett received his doctorate in education from Nova University in the state of Florida. He worked several years for the Downey Unified School District and then for the rest of his career until retirement from Cerritos College as an administrator.  Dr. Hughlett has been very involved in his community, including serving as a former council member for the City of Cerritos and Board of Education member for the ABC Unified School District, and serving on the boards of Su Casa Domestic Violence Shelter, Cerritos Optimist Club, and the Los Cerritos YMCA as well as other non-profits.  Dr. Hughlett currently sits on the Board of Trustees for Cerritos College. Robert has been married to Marianne for 41 years, and has two grown children, Amy and Brian, as well as three grandchildren, Abigail, Amanda, and Aidan. He is a committed citizen of his community.
